3D Wood Mechanical Hummingbird and Turtle

3D Wooden Mechanical Hummingbird

This is a wooden kinetic sculpture that replicates the flight motion of a hummingbird. Each movement element is exquisite, from the fluttering wings to the extended tail. Intricate systems with handcrafted components breathe life into the sculpture.

The distinct and flowing motions arise from hundreds of components working harmoniously together. These motions are triggered by meticulously designed timing mechanisms, allowing each moving part to operate independently without undue interference from adjacent moving components.

Fascinating Mechanisms

Crafting a sculpture that resembles reality demands extensive engineering and design. Embedded within the sculpture are chambers and connections, all precisely designed to create stunning movements in a limited timeframe. With so much happening at once, it can be challenging to determine where to focus your gaze.

Differing from other wooden sculptures. Each wooden component is meticulously refined to be as lifelike as possible. The craftsmanship of the hummingbird sculpture operates in unity to create a stunning and captivating visual display.
